I’m trying to date my 10 ½ Amusement park sets and I need some help.
I’ve read that the Amusement Park Set came out in 1949.
There are 2 different yellow ribbon banners on the top of the inner lids, one saying “Builds the Parachute Jump – 5 Feet High”. The only set with a manual has a late ’49 manual and this set has this first yellow banner.
The other yellow banner says “Builds Merry-Go-Round – Parachute Jump”.
Is there a way of dating these sets based on the above?
Any other things to look at that might give away the ages of my 10 ½ Amusement Park Sets?
