February 24, 2022 – The A.C. Gilbert Heritage Society has released the Fifth Edition of the 81-page report, Public Collections of AC Gilbert Company Products & Materials (9.6 MB PDF). This report lists the contents of several museum collections from across the country, listing either a comprehensive inventory supplied by the museum’s curator, itemized searches of the museum’s published online collections, or general collection information where no current inventory is available. 1. I have been in search for the American Flyer “Gilbert Toys” railroad car. I think it was a special edition or possibly anniversary issue but i want it. Anyone know where i might be able to find it other than looking on eBay? Also if you know the going price for it would be good so i don’t over pay 🙂

    1. Hello Adam. I do have that train car and in the original box. I’ll send you a picture in email. If it is the one you’re after, let me know. Also, I plan to sell my entire ACG collection at a very affordable cost. Interested? Know anyone who might be?
