Board Openings

The ACGHS has several openings on the Board and we are looking for a few good men or women to fill them. Nominations from the general membership (must be a member in good standing) are invited to self-nominate or nominate another member in good standing for the following open positions:

Newsletter Editor – Critical Need!! - The Newsletter Editor collects stories and generates material of interest to members and prepares each issue of the Newsletter for publication and distribution. Please note that there is interest in having several individuals fill this slot and share in the responsibilities. Some knowledge of computers is necessary but the materials used can be taught to anyone willing to take on the role.

Regional Presidents A Regional President represents each region. Regional Presidents serve indefinite terms. At present we have an opening for Southeast Regional President (NC, SC, AL, GA, FL, MS, LA)

Please consider joining us in a leadership role on the ACGHS Board. Time commitments vary by job but most require only a few hours a month at most. For more details or to submit a nomination, please email president@acgilbertheritagesociety.com. Nominations will remain open until 8/31/09.
